Bloco will be playing a set during the day as well as loads of other bands. This will be a top day out.

Event:Big Drum Day - Chorley's Afro-Brasilian drumming, dance and song festival featuring performances from Chorley-based Grupo SambAfriq and other leading samba bands from across the region. Admission free.

Bloco are proud to play the Exodus Festival again this year.
Sunday 18th July at Manchester Town Hall.
Approx 3.30pm.
We are heading the parade and then performing onstage with a few surprises!
It's a great day with loads of great music. Well worth checking out.

Our acclaimed carnival-style late night party Festa Brazil returns this month with a Global Grooves Weekender late night special featuring some of the best Brazilan beats and live samba including:

Global Star Sounds - 'Brasil Set'.
A night of dance, beats, grooves and swing from the corners and crevices of Brazil. Expect the unexpected, from the swamps of Recife, the beats of Bahia, blissed out Bossa, the sounds of the funky favelas, and the swing of Samba. Fusing folkloric/roots music with electronic dancefloor grooves they'll get the party started and take it on big time until 3am.

Bloco Novo
This dynamic and exciting group of drummers, dancers and artists from Manchester are the real deal. Their vibrant and funky Afro-Latin beats have wowed audiences’ right across the U.K. Their epic performance will get you grooving with a full PA set and loads of surprises from amazing vocalists, electro/acoustic melody, DJs, drummers, and secret special guests.

Astley Park in Chorley, Sunday 23rd August,
